A Little History
English Golden Retrievers were 1st bred in Scotland in the mid-19th century. Bred to retrieve shot waterfowl, such as ducks and upland game birds. English Golden Retrievers have an instinctive love of water, and are easy to train for basic or advanced obedience standards. We raise our Goldens in our home with us as members of our family. The English Golden just makes the perfect companion.

Our families moved from Scotland to Vermont in the late 1600's to early 1700's and began farming it's rugged hillsides and mountains. Though we no longer try to tame her, we still make our home in the countryside of Vermont. We are a family owned business and take great pride in what we do.
